I first made this box along with 2 other boxes for a local gallery's exhibition. Each box has its own character. The idea for this Kauri box came from the Japanese architecture style called 'SUKIYA'.

この箱は、他の２つの箱と一緒に、オークランド市街にあるギャラリーの展示会に出品するために製作しました。それぞれの箱に個性をもたせるように努めましたが、 特にこの箱は、私の好きな数奇屋をイメージして作りました。今回は、海外からの注文を受けての製作となります。
